Aww, maybe the person on the other end of the red pen was just a little over-excited. I used to correct papers (just the grammar) for my English professor father, and it was so much fun to be using a big red pen that I know I was a bit overzealous from time to time.
Thanks for the encouragement! She went through the paper with me later and said actually it wasn't too bad.. So I'm relieved!
